In this section, be inspired by the benefits of physical activity; learn how much movement you need each week, based on your age; and discover how to identify, prevent or manage chronic diseases through a healthy, active lifestyle.

There are lots of ways to use guidelines and policies, or your indoor and outdoor space, to make sure physical activity opportunities will consistently be available at your congregation (and home).

 

Help Others Gain Access to Physical Activity Opportunities:

Learn how to advocate for parks, paths, and natural areas in neighborhoods, sufficient physical education for school children, and other issues to create a more just and healthier environment for everyone. Create community access to safe physical activity by sharing your building and land.
